Born in Franfurt in Germany, at the age of one Reid was moved to southern California and was the child of a parent who worked in the armed forces. For two years Amy studied mechanical engineering at California State Polytechnic University. Devin Valenica was her stage name for her first debut in Young Ripe Melons 7 in 2005. In 2007 Amy won AVN's Award for Best Anal Sex Scene and Best Tease Performance. Amy became a contract star for Third Degree Films in October 2007 but in 2009 signed with New Sensations.
