To get her life started and become independent, Kox worked as a waitress and at a credit union. She soon met her husband Rick Barcode who owned a bar. They were both good at technology so decided to do something together, Their work resulted in KatieKox.com and a site that specializes in interracial pornography and cuckolding. Katie started appearing in adult movies around 2009 and has worked for big production companies like Elegant Angel and Brazzers.
